P0030 H02S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1

I have a 2001 Audi A3 sport 1.8

I recently had the o2 sensor (into CAT) changed
I had the fault codes cleared, and i was good for 2 days

Now the Engine Management light has re-illuminated itself and after scanning i only get one error:

P0030 H02S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1

Is this the sensor i just changed? Or is the this the front o2 Sensor?

Either way i would like to resolve this issue and get this light cleared..

Any help is greatly appreciated

Bank 1 sensor 1 is the pre cat sensor. (nearest the engine)

Get yourself a vcds cable so you can read the proper vw codes as 'po' numbers are vague, generic and often inaccurate.

I think this is the VW code: 17524 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating; B1 S1

I had them read prior to this but i have had some bits done since and not had it read properly, but i know i havent had that sensor changed.

Loads of views but no responses. Someone must know be able to provide a diagram or advise me on how to locate and change?

As said previously... bank 1 sensor 1 is the pre cat sensor... it will be a wideband sensor as yours is a 2001/AUM... this sensor is between the turbo and the CAT
