As i think a few people have also complained about, my S3 seemed to be over-revving when changing gear and makes you sound like your granny changing gear. I was thinking it could have been the clutch switch that could be giving me the problems, but it seems it was the DV. I replaced my DV last year (OEM for OEM but the newer model) There wasn't anything wrong with the last one, just changed it incase. Anyway as i was thinking about it i thought that i hadn't noticed it before this new DV, so changed it last week to the original old one and its solved the problem.!! Revs drop as they should as the clutch goes in. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/woohoo.gif May be worth trying this if you have the same problem. Boosts at the same level (1.5 to 1.6 bar) but vacuum isn't as strong on idle, so don't know if the old DV is in A1 condition but its staying on!
