Outside Temperature Display Sensor - Where is it?

Hi Guys

I'm after a bit of help. The outside temperature display is no longing showing on my DIS. All other info is displayed and everything else appears ok.

Does anybody know where the sensor for this is located? The air box was recently removed in order to feed a new live from my battery to an music amp in my car, has a wire being knocked out of place or a cable unplugged?

Any ideas would be great as its frustrating not knowing how *astard cold it really is every morning.

On my A4 it is in front of the radiator, mounted on the power steering cooler...

May be different with A3's but it's worth a look.

its in the n/s of the lower front bumper. You will see it from the front of the car.
