option code decoding

    I have came across a wee VW/Audi/Seat/Škoda Option Codes Decoder program on the net

    Decoder

    But wouldn't mind compiling a text/excel list of the codes.

    If possible, presuming no one else has a list already, could you guys put a list of your option codes up on this thread. I've got a wee bit of web space that I got when I took out my broadband but have never had any use for it so I could upload the codes as I gather them for everyone to access.

    Could be handy for would be buyers (like myself) to check out what cars have what fitted.

    Hope you folks will spare a few mins droping your codes onto this thread.


    The ones I have are as follows (in no particular order):-

    these are off an option code sticker I found on the web of a 2.5 tdi A6

    E0A = no special edition
    4UE = airbag for driver and front seat passenger
    6XD = outer rear view mirrors: powered, heated
    1KD = disc brakes, rear
    J1G = battery 450 A (92 Ah)
    1LT = disc brakes, front
    1AT = electronic stabilization program (ESP)
    1BE = sports suspension/shock absorption
    3FA = without roof insert (standard roof)
    5ME = Vavona wood insert "amber", high-gloss"
    7X0 = without park distance control
    F0A = no special purpose vehicle, standard equipment
    0L2 = electric throttle actuation

    8GL = alternator 120A
    0G7 = Tiptronic
    0YC = weight category rear axle weight range 3
    0JK = weight category front axle weight range 10
    T5T = components for, base engine, unit 059.B
    3NZ = rear seat bench unsplit, backrest split folding
    8JG = headlight with gas discharge lamp for driving on the right
    U2B = instrument insert with km/h speedometer,radio-controlled clock, tachometer, tripodometer and additional instruments
    X0A = national sales program Germany
    1NJ = full wheel covers
    2PV = leather trimmed sports steering wheel
    3HA = without leather parts scope
    9Q2 = multi-function indicator/on-board computer with check control
    8Z5 = engine cooling system, type 1
    MR1 = 6-cylinder diesel engine 2.5 L/132 kW 24V TDI with fuel distributor injection pump, base engine is T1K/T5T
    CA8 = alloy wheels 7J x 16 double-spoke style, offset 45
    7K0 = without tire pressure warning light
    4X1 = side airbag front
    VJ1 = reinforced bumpers
    6R0 = selector lever cover
    3PF = electric height adjustment for both front seats
    4KC = side and rear windows tinted
    3Y5 = electrically operated roll-up sun screen for rear window and mechanically operated for side windows
    4K4 = radio remote controlled central locking operated from inside and separate trunk release
    5D1 = carrier frequency 433.92 MHz
    Q1A = standard front seats
    4GH = windshield tinted with windshield sunshield
    7Q2 = navigation system with color screen

    I can also appreciate people wondering why I want a copy on line etc when it already available at the above link, well I'd like it handy when I goto buy a car, either as a wee excel file on my PDA or a paper copy in the glovebox plus I just like knowing these things
