Just got a quote to chip the car from 130bhp to 165bhp can't remember the Torque figures but was 50% more than it is now for €450.
Is that good or bad?

For that price i'd say its good! Thats equivalent to £300 notes here in the UK.

Sounds cheap to me, I'm guessing there's no rolling road though. I'm always sceptical about claimed gains without the rolling-road graphs. But, at that price, have the re-map and then take it elsewhere for a rolling-road test. If the figures don't meet expectations, take it back and get a refund.

You're right no rolling road, but they will come to me which is nice so it can be done while I'm working.

Anyone get similar figures? Make much difference?

Who & where gave you that quote? I'm looking at getting my 163bhp chipped with MTM and its working out around €1100+vat sounds like a good deal...
