I'm somewhat excited...I now have almost all the components to finish this engine build with the goal of 1000 rear wheel hp. After almost 8 weeks of waiting...my custom made pistons have finally arrived. Everything is now at the machine shop to be balanced and get all the final machining done. Should have the long block assembled by the end of this month. This engine build has been in the works for almost a year now. Piston info.. Custom Ross Nitrous Pistons Rated up to 2800 hp with turbo/supercharger Rated to 2500 hp with nitrous. Piston diameter: 4.125" Weight: 370 grams. The Crankshaft Forged 4340 alloy steel 4" stroke. The Block World Products after market block. High Density/high carbon, cast iron. Rated up to 2200+ hp Capable of supporting up to 480 cubic inches of displacement. Will be 427 cubic inches (7 liters) with the 4" stroke crank and 4.125" bore/pistons.
