just having new front tyres fitted as the last set of track rods knackered the insides and noticed my passenger side track rod end's rubber has split, it's not rattling yet but it won't be long.

What are the chances of some uprated S4 ones lasting any length of time?

i went to ecp earlier to take back the unneeded water pump and belt and queried the faulty stat and rod ends.
they did discount on the lemforder ends, £60 all told, and will take the stat and the rod ends back for full refund with the original invoice which i forgot.
I showed them a pic of the rod end and they agreed it was fucked too quickly.

    very good service.

Always found ECP to ber helpful when returning anything. Glad it's getting sorted.
