Ok a month in and i can't figure these 2 things!

I'm losing my mind on these 2 after figuring out all of the other stuff i wanted! I really hope someone can help

1) I've got no traffic data on anything other than motorways. I have audinconnect sorted, 3g sim in and working online, valid license, online traffic turned on, re-routing turned on, green and red map overlays selected.

2) how the buggery ******** do you make the stereo return to the previous volume after muting it?

Regarding point 2, you don't it returns to the start up volume or if muted and you roll the volume it starts at zero. Its set like this to protect the audio equipment i.e. the speaker drivers.
