    Hi there,

Getting this error on an A3 Quatty. Believe there is a sensor in the sump? Whereabouts is the sensor?

Any idea on price at all for this?

  2. The oil level sensor is on the bottom of the sump. The electrical connector faces towards the rear of the car.
If it's like mine, you may have knocked off, or damaged the connector. The sensor itself is usually ok.

    thats great mate...

how do you fix a broken electrical connector :S

or is it just a case of reconnecting it?

    Cheers

  4. If you're lucky it will just need reconnecting. But you will prbably need a new connector body at the least. Get one from your dealer.
My latest one has been reduced to a few bare wires, so I've had to get a new loom as well.

cheers mate, will get it checked out probably saturday!

Is the sensor at the back of the sump, back further than the sump plug presumably...

  6. The sensor is to the side of the sump plug.
