    Alright Guys!

Does anyone know where to get the tool that removes the oil filter cover?

I have removed it before by using a hammer and screwdriver lol but this is quite brutal and would like to have the proper tool

    thanks

Boydie, you can buy a special tool from VAG parts. It is called an "Oil Filter Removal Tool" part number 3417, and is listed at GBP 13.95. This tool is placed on top of the oil filter top cover, and then one uses a normal spanner to loosen it. Hope this helps.

Sorry I don't know. I suspect you can buy the gadget from Audi directly, but the only one I have seen advertised is from VAG parts. Best call Audi to enquire its availability and price. Cheers.
