Hi , i've read that many of you have the oil change done at an independent garage whilst still having the regular services done at an Audi dealer . My question is - does this in any way invalidate the Audi warranty , thanks .
I think you will find very few people on here go to a dealer to get the car serviced as it can usually get done cheaper and have better service from an independent. To answer you question you never need to take your car to a Audi dealer to get it serviced as long as the garage you take the car to uses OEM standard Audi parts. The days of having to take a car to a dealer to keep it`s warranty finished many years ago.
Most Audi dealers do oil / filter service for £99 which isn't too bad considering the oil is probably best part of £50 plus an oil filter plus you get the dealer stamp.
Kwik fit £50, OEM parts and same oil.
