    need a lil help...

    my 1997 avant sohc v6.

i head a creak a week ago, was unsure what it was.

so just now when reversing it creaked and i can make it do it.

more so as i got out and pressed down on the passenger side wing and it creaks.

what could it be, the suspension seems more complex than i am used to fixing.

    any ideas?

creak? no clunk? could be something as simple as a spring seat or a creaky bush.
    any other symptoms

That will probably be one of the arm bushes, locating which one is not easy tho as there are loads in there

if ones creaking then they're likely all well past their best.

If you can afford it, replace them all.

i bought a kit on ebay for £115 quid with all 8 arms and new droplinks track rod ends and bolts

Its been fine so far but ive only had it on the car a few months. I dont expect it will last the same length of time that the original audi parts did, but i'd expect it to last a reasonable amount of time
