Hello, kind of new, already created a thread asking about getting an S3. Bought one.

Then, some while after, oil pressure light on, killed turbo due to lack of oil no doubt and after a service (oil light vanished) and just all oil went down my exhaust :p (killed my seal) blue smoke everywhere.

Replaced, oil pump, pick up etc. and also bearings and also put on a used turbo with minimal shaft play.

Now, the turbo is not passing any oil, but however, boosting rather strangely, making almost a pressurized air noise (boost leak) and also when giving it the beans, sometime experiencing a lot of boost, sometimes not. Typical of a boost leak? - To be variable?

Also, making some 'metallic' noise coming onto & during boost.

    Any ideas?

Getting the turbo back off to get it refurbed anyway.

    Any suggestions?

    Much appreciated,
    Matt
