So this is my first post and im new to the S3 game... :)

Ive had my black 58 plate S3 a month and will be booking it in for a stage 1 Revo remap and Revo Induction kit :)

I love this car, but have a feeling its going to cost me a fortune :D the modding bug has been reignited....

The last car car i messed around with was a VTS Saxo lol in my Yooooooth...

Cant wait to get it done :)

Yes I have done plenty of reading and it turned out my local Revo Dealer was only 4 mile away, and has given me a nice 20% off remap and 10 % off in kit B-) can't moan at that.

In general love the drive of the S3 but sometimes there is just something a little missing! Hope the remap sorts this :) and the induction for a little noise :-D

I like the gfb dv+ aswell... Might be worth investing in at stage 1.... Pretty much eliminates turbo lag between gear changes...

I have driven S3s with it and without recently and there is definitely a bonus in having 1... However it does get mixed reviews... At stage 1 defo a must for me.. With the intake, you'll be pushing around 320hp on average

unless your car is stronic... Drove an stronic recently, only standard, but i dont think there would be a need for that on them??

Personally I wouldn't bother with an aftermarket DV, just get the latest revision Audi item, a lot cheaper.

I have Revo Stage 1 and Revo CAI, and I will say this now, you will love it. Mine is going in for DP, decat and Revo Stage 2 tomorrow.

Have you driven a S3 with the uprated DV Dan? Defo a lot less lag with it... Aftermarket parts are often produced to try and eliminate flaws within the oem design... As its a metal piston, absolutely no issue of the diaphram ever tearing

    The difference is negeible.

I had stock and Forge DV on my 8L S3 and noticed no difference.

I have the latest revision Audi on my 8P S3 and never suffer from lag unless I am in the wrong gear when booting it.

    It's a great car,but as you've noticed,and everyone else has said,it needs a bt more.

Mine was going to stay stock until the bug bit,and I'm still getting things done to it now.

It seriously could cost you a fortune, but you'll have fun along the way.

    How very true!
I think most of us were planning on staying standard when purchased.

Once you map you won't look back. I was going to stay standard but after a revo trial it was a no brainer... Revo remap was booked and it completely changed the car :)
