Off side front ABS sensor intermittent ecu-flag

Getting intermittent ESP & ABS lights on the dash

ECU scan shows Off side front ABS sensor

Any 'thing to check' for this condition ??,
Fault light's remains , until ignition is turned off and back on

I had same problem with my abs light and eps light coimg on. Changed the abs sensor on passenger side and fixed the problem

Same on the way home tonight ... abs&eps lights on , stayed on for a while , turned ignition off-on , lights cleared

just looked now with torque - lite [ previous was snap-on reader] and - NO fault code showing in ANY of the options
snap-on showed , abs off side front wheel , but I don't have the code .. garage suggest , pick up a new sensor ,

Is torque - lite enough to read the codes ?

Nope... you will need VCDS lite and a cable... most generic and other commercially available code readers don't always pick up all VAG codes... VCDS or VAGs own diagnostics are the best ones to trust

odd , it did pick up the input cam flag a while back

Torque only looks at the ECU not the other modules... ABS is a separate module...

VCDS is realistically the best tool for the job

yes ,,, makes sense now , snap on- had air-bag , abs , ecu or was there 4 ?

That's windows based ? ....... anything that runs as APP ?
