Hi there, I've retrofited the OEM alarm last year with all control modules needed and sensors. This last weekend something strange happened. The alarm went off and luckly i was close and hear. Went to the car and nothing strange was happening. I disarmed and then armed the alarm and the flashing LED always became lit up no matter how many times i unlocked/locked the car. It eventualy came to it's normal state. Yesterday same thing happened. The manual says it's interior monitoring deffect. I connected VCDS today and it showed me the error no comunication with int monitoring and with tow away module. The only thing happened those 2 days was the car had sat a few hours under sun heat and it was very hot indeed... So this means that on summer when i go for a swim on the beach i can't leave the car at sun heat? :) now more serius what do you guys think the probleme is? Cheers

cleared it with copying. Meanwhile it hasn't happened again. Realy strange this as it always worked fine with no problems... Next time i'll save the log. But i can add that there were 2 faults on the 46 saying no comunication with interior monitoring and with tow away protection module. Now they're working fine. Can it be wiring issues because of the heat? All wiring was made carefuly and taped with that OEM cloth tape.

If it was a wiring issue, it would be normal that it stayed malfunction but now it's normal again after a few minutes...

    Cheers.
