Hi guys and gals i cant find the old posts so here goes,,,,
Any one know what vag lead i need to read the computer on my car,,,,
She's a 97 1.8t sport AEB engine code,,,
Ive been looking on ebay and it looks like a good peice of kit and as cash is some what scarce right now due to our goverment ( thanks guys :icon_thumright: ) its all i can afford,,,,
So if you know of the type i need i will be greatfull thanks

An of the eBay ones, as long as it's not four-pin should do ya. They're all much of a muchness.

You have a lappy? Does it have a USB port and/or a serial one?

We can link you directly then. Alphabid are the usual suspects IMO. I use a serial one, no connection problems and more than adequate for my 98
