I have seen loads of threads and read up about the change from none MFSW to MFSW.

I currently have a Audi A3 05 plate where the DIS is currently not active.

I currently have the 4 spoke wheel and have seen a 3 spoke S3 wheel with a airbag for relatively cheap, so wanted to change it up.

What parts do i need to do this change, i know i need a new cluster clock but has anyone got a part number that would work.

Also what other parts do i need.

I have emailed Nigel as well regarding this conversion and asked for cost of the conversion, but if i can find some parts for cheap i might as well source them as well.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Not sure on the cluster clock thing, I cant say I have seen people changing them but I may be wrong. Possible issues could be slipring and steering ECU if you are using aftermarket headunit then you will also need the relevant control module and patch cable.

What car have you got and what do you consider to be 'relatively cheap' ?

What do you want the wheel to do for you ?

Does your car have a single stage airbag system or dual stage ? If single stage then you will need to change all the airbags and control module.

What do you mean by 'DIS not active' ?

Can I suggest you get the car scanned for module information before you go down this track. You could be looking at a lot of money !

Its £120 for the wheel and airbag, and in good condition
I want just to change the tracks instead of having to go to the system everytime i want to do it

    Its a dual airbag system

The DIS was not installed when the car was bought so need a new cluster clock.

To my knowledge you can't buy a mfsw and airbag for £120 !

Perhaps we could help more if you posted a photo of the wheel.
