I have a 2003 Audi A3 8P 2.0 TDI,
Yesterday I started the car, drove like 200 yards and then lost first and second gear. Reverse, 3-6 is still there?
I had recovery pick me up who said it was the cables but I was googling it while waiting to be picked up and I kept coming across it may be the 'gear switch fork' or something? Finally looked this morning as it's light and the cables look fine.
For first and second it's like they're in neutral, don't even need to put my foot on the clutch to put them in. I've only recently got an Audi so I don't know too much about them
