I can't find an A3 Hayne's Manual - heard there isn't one. Is the VW a good enough alternative, and for what chapters or areas?

    thanks

The Haynes Golf IV/Bora manual (3727) is quite useful - mostly the same as the (old) A3 (Ur-A3?) except for bodywork and interior, and even then they're similar. IIRC, it covers all the A3 engines (1.6, 1.8, 1.8T, 1.9TDI).

Thanks for that - it's a 98R 1.8T - I believe the servicing procedurs and intervals are the same as well. As a newbie, what is IIRC?

    Thanks
