newquay!! who's been?

Hey ppl thinking of going to newquay in May for a long weekend there.
Any one know of any cheap places to stay there? Or recommend any where there?

Any good or bad storys
Speed cameras around newquay need look out for lol

Will be longest trip done in a3 dover to newquay about 330 miles!

What you going for mate, surfing, filly-hunting, or just out on the pi$$? Been a few times, with locals mainly and tend to avoid alot of it.
Beware the cameras and plod on the A30 too, all dual carriageway, mainly quiet on an evening, but riddled with em.

Dont stop at the hotel on top of the hill. Its a gentle slope when you walk into town but its like climbing a vertical hill on the way back p**sed.

A30 can have the odd copper with a speed gun, a mate got done a number of years back. I normally go camping down there either in a static van or tourer. Havn`t been out in Newquay for a while but it used to be a very friendly atmosphere.

The A30 goes right across Cornwall, and is sooo tempting to give it some!
Id personally avoid the big weekends, like Bank Hols and Surf Comps, purely for the traffic and stuff, but it is a load of fun, was BBQ'ing on Fristal last May, great days! Fingers crossed the weather sorts itself out!

The A30 is a wicked road! Its so hard to lean off especially on the downhill bits!

Been a few times to Newquay, its a proper dump these days. Anyone over 30 should give it a miss unless they are into surfing!

if your under 25 then you will love it at night!

Proper dump a hmm have look into it bit more. Im 22 and looking to go out on **** there but if it turning into a sh*t hole it a long way to go for weekend.
could just stay in dover for **** up in sh*t hole.

At 22 mate, I say pile yourself down there! Worthwile looking in on Perranporth too, good surf beach.
