Newbie with issues on what plate a4

Hi all.I'm wayne from Wiltshire.
I've got a w plate a4 estate. 1.8 5v.it keeps going into limp mode. Anyone got any ideas please

scan the ECU with VCDS and find out what the fault is.

Did scan.it was mass flow sensor. Changed that.no more limp mode but cuts out all the time now as not holding revs

unplug the sensor and see what happens

Might be a leak, or the new sensor is faulty.

When I unplug it the car cuts out if someone has foot slightly on excellerater

Like Aragorn said, check for leaks. The original braided rubber hose is prone to cracking/splitting.

Where abouts are you? Someone may be able to lend a hand looking over the vacuum hoses etc
