    Hi,

Had the engine management light come up earlier in the week and now i've got the fault codes through vag-com - the 1st 2 i believe are possibly due to an air leak in the induction system somewhere, is there a usual culprit to look for or could it be anywhere?

Not sure on the 3rd fault, couldnt find it on the Ross-tec wiki?

See if you have a Measured Block 032 that shows fuel trim:
    http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/Fuel_Trim_Info

Note if the fault was cleared recently, there will be 0.0s displayed until it is driven for a while.

With the (08) HVAC fault, look at Measured block 005 and see what values are displayed.

Clear the hvac error as this system often has errors showing even when the system is fully functioning mate, usually you can clear this & it goes away, sometimes you'll get others come back, they usually have no affect on the system in question mate for hvac, try testing with the climate system running, of course with engine on aswell.

    Did you do leak test?

Didn't have chance to look at it yesterday due to day out with the inlaws.

Is there an easy way of doing a leak test without taking it to a garage?

No there's no easy way to do, I made my own kit with a plastic wheel & tyre valve in going from pipe leading to turbo & used a 12v compressor, but this isnt really that easy tbh, finding a garage that has a decent tester maybe fun, ideally mate you need to find someone who has the version that has the smoke system integrated aswell, as will find a leak in minutes maybe even seconds.
