Hi everybody, just bought my first ever Audi after 15 years of being a Vauxhall anorak :D I spend most of my time on www.vxon.co.uk

Picked up this lovely S4 Avant on Saturday, and I'm stunned by the sheer quality of the thing

Just feels a bit flat compared to the performance stats really,...............but I've kept my Astra GTE for outright speed ;)

Anyway, very nice to be here, and I look forward to speaking to you all at some point :beerchug:

    Paul.

gotta love noggy blue ! , but then i am biased !
All S4's feel a bit flat as standard, get her chipped and you wont look back !
Not too sure on those M3 mirrors !

That's what I'll be doing in a few weeks, but I need advice on which software to go for really. It's a Fontain car, and they're pushing REVO Technik,................any good? The Astra would make this thing go backwards as it is.

Nor me, but at least whoever fitted them made them fully functioning electric and heated, and NOT £30 Halfords items :)

Are your chrome style easy to get hold of?

chrome style can come in the form of proper chrome mirrors or covers.
They sound like proper m3 ones then if they are electric and heated !

Wouldnt go revo for the chip, AmD/MRC all the way !
Revo is cheaper but not as good im my eyes

If your going for a custom map, then the remap supplier (MRC, REVO, Superchips, Oettinger, AMD blah blah) really means bugger all.

Find a renowned, respectable tuner, tell him what your expecting, and give him the remains of your bank account.

while tuning, take it out for a test drive after a prospective final map, and see how you get on with it. If it's a handful, its back on the rollers.

Hey... sweet car. Looks good! I kinda like the M3 mirrors. But then I am not a big fan of the chrome or ally ones..
