    Just won these on ebay...

    clicky

Anyone know if the standard dampers will suffice or if I should upgrade? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif They're going on a 95 1.8 SE (I know, not a turbo but I feel like I'm gonna get a nosebleed when I'm driving it!)

There is always a good chance of old dampers failing when you fit lowering springs. Suddenly putting more stress on them.

    Agreed.

It's always a good idea to uprate your dampers when you fit lowering springs, the OE ones won't last long if you just replace the springs.

Cheers for that fellas. Was thinking along those lines anyway but wasn't 100% sure.

Any ideas as to what would be the best buys and where to get them from? They're gonna be paired with Bilstein sport springs so was thinking of going for the matching dampers.

Just had another thought, what about the caster/camber settings? Would these need to be fettled too?
