New Scirroco

Did anyone see the new VW Scirroco on fifth gear last night??

What a stunning looking car, it does look really good....

I just thought i would share that with you....

Yep, saw that, it did indeed look good. They said it was basicaly a Golf GTI with a different body shell, but actually cheaper!! Either there's something missing off the car or they'll basically stop selling 3dr Golf GTI's cos who'd bother buying one if it costs more!!

Maybe it looks better in the flesh but I thougt the pics on the web look terrible. Looks like a fat souped up Peugeot to me, no thanks.

I really wanted a scirroco when I was a kid... liked the look of that one...

I always wanted one as well, then ended up getting the golf GTI, i remember a mate of mine that had a couple of Scirocco Storms, they were the nuts in their day!!

I also agree the pics on the web do not do it any justice at all, however when they showed it on the tv yesterday, it looked so much better.....

I would defo like to see one in the flesh too....who knows they may get one at GTI International this year...

Scirocco always lagged behind the Golf, like no rear discs, previous models interior. Hope the new one isn't run down the same lines especially as it is only £100 cheaper.

There is a rumour the Scirocco may be released with the S3 lump and 4 motion.

Looks nice, would be even better with a s3 motor in it....
