They look great - Cant wait to see them on the car.

    I'm considering some for my A4 S-line.
I have the 19" RS4's on it currently, but thinking of buying a set of these.
How did you get the painted and what was the cost etc.

    Regards,
    Andy.

look sick. lets see them on the car.
can't see these becoming like the b5 RS4 reps either, which looked average to start with, and then every tom **** & harry stuck them on...

I have a bit of a soft spot for those rims, although prefer them in silver, I prefer bling over black.

    pics, pics, pics :)

Ordered some 225/40/18 Falken FK452's on saturday night there as they were about the best reviewed tyre and met my budget so hopefully they should arrive this week.

Yeah N8 I sorted the centre caps out DIY style and my black wheel nut covers arrived the other day so fingers crossed they'l be on by the weekend.

    Smudge as for cost's:

    £370 for alloys
£120 to get them powder coated(thats with a crimbo deal there usually £160)
    £300 for tyres

Thats the main costs, but when you add £20 for the black wheel nut covers,£20 for paint/laquer/primer/sandpaper to do the centre caps it all mounts up!

I got them powdercoated rather than painted as the state's of the roads up here and the weather i'd be lucky if the paint stayed on for a year. Basically powder coating is spraying on a powdered coat of paint, putting the wheels in an oven then baking the coat to the alloy.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

Chameleon powder coatings in renfrew mate just round the corner from braehead shopping centre. Handy as it was just up the road and not actually too far from you aswell.

There running the christmas special until the 19th of Jan (£120 upto 18") but willing to extend the offer is business is booming. Really genuine pair of guys who run the place and they even offer the same day service if you need the car back asap.

Pics please as soon as on the car, I really like the new RS6 alloys and a good price all in too. Falken 452 are supposed be pretty good full stop regardless of their very competitive price so a good choice.

I am looking at getting some RS6 style rims and getting them powdercoated or painted in a darker colour not black but anthracite or something.
Anyone have any pictures if they have done this?
    Cheers
