A pulsar GTi-R will slaughter an S3.
Not too sure how a BT S3 would do though.
 
Rough stats are , 5.5 -60 , 15.2 - 100

There only 220bhp , but there 1220KG

they are very fast cars....quite rightly said though...ugly as feck

the best you can hope for is that his mechanics fail whilst booting it.... from what i remember, the sunny wasnt the most reliable of cars...by any stretch of the imagination
 
Yeh pulsars are rapid!!! was gunna buy 1 last year, strip it out and use it for track.... Think it would **** all over a mapped s3!!! Wouldnt be seen dead in 1 on the public roads though!!!! lol

tip to all stupid 2.0tdi Sline A4 avant drivers....... unless you are mapped up, and enlarged your turbo offering....dont try:sob:

too addictive Scott..... although i do have to point out that there arent many situations where i press the other car into booting it..... the S3 seems to attract trouble
 
have had an A4 3.0tdi quattro up my **** which was quite difficult to get away from
 
yeah they are extremely powerful from what ive heard....... if chipped id say it'd be a no go'er...... anyone else had any fun with one of these?
 
also had a bit of fun with an a4 avant 2.0t. wouldve been quite abit closer if mine wasnt remaped
 
yeah they are quick but not what you expect a 2.0T to be, if mapped they must knock some right power out...although probably the same as a Ko3 is to a K04 when compared with the new S3 (could be wrong though)? how did you get on with that 3.0tdi btw..was that a loss
 
no it was a win. obviously it was alot more torqier then the s3 and would pull away at first but then i would slowly raine in and could overtake (all private roads ofcourse!) if i was off boost however he was gone. i think it was a win :racer:
 
i found that strangely enough with that 2.0tdi yesterday.... he pulled away about a 2-3 cars length and then i was gone, flew past him..... dont think i was going for it off the line, so may have looked worse on my part...... good to hear Rav.... like Glen said...its about picking battles and dont know if id have tried with the 3.0tdi if you hadnt mentioned it:beerchug:
 
lol give it a go why not. in all fairness i was just driving at cruising speeds until it cam up my **** so i went into the middle lane and then thought ****** it lets play!!!:weight_lift2:

i dont usually get many people trying to take me,if they do they are usually in saxo's etc i dont have time for citroens,lol.

i kind of want people to try it but knowing my luck ill prob get caught by the fuzz,i did have a little race when i 1st got the car with a gti anniversary and a new r32,but didnt have much joy only just beat the gti,and got a grilling on here,lol

Must be me looking for it after all :jump:, na, i do drive to get where i need to go 'the quickest way possible' although normally within the limits. If you drive in the fast lane of a motorway, your always gonna have somebody come up and try...... and the beauty of this car is that its quite deceiving what it can do...yeah its not the quickest car on the planet...far from it...but it does well across the board IMO:w00t:

Yup, agree with that, Citreons arent worth it, unless its a VTS, when the kid driving prob thinks he can take the world on.... theres a Loeb C4 near me that always seems to be going in the opposite direction....drives like a nob too so ideal candidate
 
Only person Ive had a run with recently was a Boxter on the way back from the Ring, made it as far as Guildford before some bloke was trying to show off and undertook my mate... funny look on his face when I was sat right behind him 20seconds later

Appart from that Ive really stopped bothering on the roads, seems if you overtake or beat someone they only come up behind you at the next set of lights! Either that or your risking your licence. I know what my car will and wont do so dont have to prove it! I find baiting people is more fun, give it a little rev at the lights maybe and watch them wheel spin off up the road, thinking they've rinsed you... then I just smile and carry on my journey knowing I saved myself £5 worth of fuel!

In Germany I didnt see 1 facelift A3 or S3! I saw a few pre-facelift S3s and 1 A3 on the whole trip (and that was british!)

Some German bloke was looking round my car and took pictures of my headlights and rear lights! Strange
