Hello folks,

Firstly: thank-you for all the information to date.
I used this forum for advice prior to buying a S3 last month.

I've attempted to upload a picture for reference.
I think it is Mauritius Blue - I'm struggling to find information online or members who've owned one.
She's a wee bit rough around the edges - cosmetically but hoping to tidy things up come the Spring.
Sitting on RS4 Replicas.
Silver Alcantara half leather, bose sound system (tape deck) 6 CD Changer.

96k with FSH - never been modified.

I've put it into the garage this week to have all the "major" mechanical work carried out.

All genuine Audi Parts are being used:

Haldex oil and filter
Oil pickup / sump pan dropped and cleaned out.
Spark plugs, oil and filter, pollen filter, air filter
Timing belt, tensioners, pulleys, water pump (uprated type) and aux belt
Cam Chain (read they are weak in the 1.8T)
New cooling expansion tank (discolored form heat - no oil present)
Brake fluid and transmission fluid change (new rear discs and pads going on too)

With your knowledge / experience... Have I missed anything?

The Sills were starting to corrode on her aswell, so the skirts are coming off. Cleaned up and the car's being wax oiled afterwards and ready for being picked up next week.

Cheers for now,

Bain

I guess if you want to make sure all fluids are renewed You can also do power steering fluid.

Maybe check suspension bushes too?

- That's a good shout on the Power Steering fluid.

The mechanic gave it a good look over - (winter check) before I booked in for the work.
Apart from some CV Boots (being replaced) - I think rubber was ok.
He picked up the car and dropped it off at night - gave it a good run to check it out.
It was a bit of a risky buy but so far it seems ok.

Hoping to keep it for a good while - they're retaining value when kept in good knick.

Cheers

Thats perfect thank-you: I'll make note of that. May be on the look for a Xenon Drivers side Headlight in the future. Cheers.

Cheers - aye it's quite smart - I can't seem to see any of them in this colour. Hope it's not a nightmare for touch ups!

All S3s are fine for the odd touch up, with privacy glass of course.

Hello and welcome to the forum your car looks perfect.
