New owner, hi

Hi guys, new owner here,
Have an a3 2.0 tdi with plenty of factory extras 2012 plate 8v.
My question is has anyone found the cause of a silent rear speaker?
Happened to me before with another car, really irritated.
Popped plenty of plastic trim nearly bent it past the point of no return with sore fingers! touched the connections seem solid? could it be at head unit side loose wire??????
Any experienced mmi exponents???
