after fitting my hid kit, i found the sidelights were letting the side down looking too yellow compared to the light blue / white light of the hid's so fitted some led 501's what do you think ?

    after

and the colour match of both lit up at once

personally i think it's a much better look
and yes i know my headlights are steamed up ! i'm waiting on a dry day to sort them .

I bought some quad led 501's for my A4, I couldn't believe how much brighter they were than the blue tinted ones I was using before. Definitely worth it for just £7.

Where did you get them from I want some for mine as you said the side lights look a bit sick. I assume the 501 is the bulb number type.

LED's are good but don't last! I've gone through 3 sets already in 3 years.

But they do look much better and are more energy effiecient so are better for the environment lol

Got mine from Halfords 9.99 for a pair of 4 x 3.5mm LEDS. At first thought 1 was faulty then reseated it and is fine now. Haven't seen it in the dark yet. but looks better than the yellow standards.

    THanks for the tip.

Auto bulbs off Ebay are reasonable for LED's and the like!
I fitted LED's to ny A4 Avant and they flickered because of the computer diagnostic (when it tells you a bulb is out)

    They look great.
Has anyone seen any R6 type side lights for the A6? I know it's probably a front grilll conversion but I love those multi led lines of white light.
