New head ordered what gasket is needed ?

ive ordered a amc head for my bkd engine and ive got a choice of three head gaskets being : 1.5mm 1.63 and 1.71 being a new head what gasket would i be best running ?

The thickness of the gasket determines the compression ratio, so your gasket choice is governed by that. If you're after standard compression ratio then there's a calculation based on the protrusion of the pistons above the top of the bores, but that would equate to a genuine OEM head. I've no knowledge of AMC heads and what they're like in comparison to the OEM, so maybe AMC would advise?
