Got my new Forge TIP from

J Racing Parts and Tools (JParts@live.com), (great service I must say)...delivered next day with quote, receipt and shipment direct from Forge.

Going to fit it soon. BTW it's an AWW engine code TIP going on an AGU with K03s. Any fitting guide would be much appreciated

    Thanks

My mate had one of these fitted to his Leon on Saturday, you are going to love it mate, car pulls stronger, holds boost longer and sounds even better than it did before

Do you mind me asking how much you paid? From what I can see it was a pain in the arse to fit on the Leon, my mates was fitted at Awesome GTI

Not totally sure on the AWW engine, but I think you will need to plug a take-off at the top of the inlet near the MAF.

Mine was an AGU forge hose, with a take off cut into it to suit an AUM, and then I've got it and plugged the hole up again!

If it has the un-needed take-off, forge sell 10mm plugs to plug it.

The biggest problem you will find is clamping the TIP over the turbo inlet itself.

    Its an absolute nightmare!

I took mine off at the weekend and after 3 hours of swearing I went looking for my normal TIP to re-fit it, then remembered I'd sent it to you!

I eventually got it, ended up using a Mikalor clamp kinda halfway over the metal inlet but still fully on the TIP.

Basically jubilee clamps pull the pipe off the inlet, and its a pain, Mikalors do this but eventually seem to bit, I assume as they have a completely circular clamping motion whereas jubilees go egg shaped.

There is a normal fitting guide on seatcupra.net

    Bumping this topic slightly...

Does anyone know, or have access to this TIP fitting guide?

Just purchased a Forge TIP and the 007p DV from Damian @ DPN (very useful/helpful chappie)

    Any help appreciated.

    Jim
