New door lock

I have just got a new door lock in order to fix the problem of the microswitch not telling the car that the door is in fact closed.

How easy is this to fit? or not easy is it to fit? lol

anything i should be aware of?

has anyone ever done a how to? if not i might knock up a how not too!

i have the same problem on my passenger door, but my doesn't always latch properly either, seems the spring has gone too...

Had the door casing off, but it seems to me that the door subframe and window mech needs to come out, Hence, I gave up because i was running out of daylight haha

Well had a look. It loos like you need to take out the whole door sub frame which has the window and everything else attached to it and there seem to be some wedges in there for ajustment of some sort.

I think i will pay someone to do that. I will be there for a week trying to get the ajustments right again!
