As you are all aware, we have updated the classifieds section. Can I please ask that when placing a new ad that you fill out the relevant sections completly. Below the box for the description, can you fill in the box for asking price in GBP, below that there is a section for adding photographs. Following this guidline, your advert will then have the asking price and photograph in the main listing of the page and make it easier for other members to see at a glance the image and asking price together. Thank you.

I think it should be mandatory or the listing shouldnt be allowed to be posted up, also as per other forums to counteract fraud, they should put a piece of paper next to or on the item, showing the date listed & username on said forum, along with a contact number & location.

Get fedup seeing listings with just some **** text stating "I have this for sale, PM me", shows laziness, sellers should be made to do the work required to sell there item, not make buyers do all the walking as such.

It also would help to filter out the time wasters asking silly questions all the time, so all round its better for everyone & the site hierarchy wouldnt have to get so involved or at all imho.

Date listed and username is a good call Nigel

Obviously people think a for sale advert doesn't need many details...WRONG

I'm going to remove any adverts with just links or lacking crucial details
