Just purchased some BBS 2 piece rims from ebay for my a3.

Car currently lowered 35mm on Jamex springs. Looking to lower front end with a bit more with lowering caps.

The rims are 18", 8J, ET33, 5x100. Im kinda sure I shouldn't have a problem fitting these on.

I'm not clued on about tyres. I have 2 brand new Falken F452 255 35ZR 18 94Y tyres sitting in my garage. To save money I was hoping to just buy 2 similar ones and use these. Will these be ok on the car with the new wheels??
I currently have 225 35 tyres on 8js, not sure if the 255 will be too wide?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

255's will be waaaaay to wide

Cheers mate, looks like I'm gona have to go for a full set of new 1s.

Iv just mounted a set of Calibra Vintage on Falkens 225/40/18. Rims are 18 x 8 et 32. Car is lowered on colies about 35 - 40 mm.. No problems at all.

I have the same wheels. 225/40 18 are the standard.

Thanks guys.

I've been looking at Falken FK452 but found Falken ZE912 which are a cheaper. Anyone know of any major differences between the 2??

912's are newer than the 452's but the 452's are still alot better. Hence why the 452's cost more because they're better. I had 452's on my old BBS's and loved them, will defo be getting a set for my OZ's when these tyres crap out.

912s are older IIRC

i have 452's currently a very good all round tyre

Ive had them both. The 912 are newer and are an all weather tire whereas the 452's are a summer tire.

452's are a lot better out of the two.
