    Look pretty cool.

    Any idea of the price?

I think i would prefer the normal clear lamps though.

Rich, you can get black or chrome 'angel eyes' from fk-automotive.com. They have retailers in the UK and sell for around £150-£175

Yes they are the same, its just the year that make the difference plus if you have Xenon/Hides or not.

Just fitted some on my 1998 A4......the are 'E' marked so will go through a uk mot. They look cool as ****. Got a silly sidelight bulb withing the headlight that look daft with the angel eyes on but i disconnected it. The angel eyes are my sidelights now.

The chrome ones are just like the lights I've got fitted to mine at the mo. I'm going to be taking them off in the near future and replacing them with facelift OEMs though.

Those are the similar to the ones i had, mine were made by 'solar' though, and were UK spec so pointed to the left. As someone earlier said they will not pass a UK MOT if they are euro spec (e marked) so watch out for it, or just keep your old ones and switch them over.

The light beam is a hell of a lot stronger than originals and the bulbs are purple, it gives off a blue/purple light looking from the front, also full beam has a blue tint. The rings are also blue, not the ugly yellow colour!! :p

£160 from ebay delivered about a year ago. Make sure they are UK spec so they point to the left otherwise it will fail an MOT. Or just keep your old ones and swap them over for the MOT. :)

Has anyone got a picture of the chrome ones fitted to their car?
I'd really like to see how they look preferably or a dark colour car. Also how's the fit of them?
    Thanks,
    John

Those are direct replacements for non xenons, got mine from ebay.

Xenons are slightly brighter. Might aswell get a HID kit though IMO. Angels look better imo though :p

HID = High Intesity Discharge kit or Xenons etc. You can get a seperate HID kit to go with these headlights. Aftermarket ones are a lot better than standards IMO and cheaper :)

I am assuming these can't be fitted with Xenons?
Does anyone know if the base is the same as the OEM light units and the base can be cut out to fit the Xenons?

    Thanks,
    John

Still kind of confused exactly what I need to buy, I love the look of angel eyes - my car is a facelift B5 with Xeon lights. Has anyone got any links to the exact item I need that would fit my car with a straight simple swap out if possible? ie prefrably with no re-wiring needed or anything?

Also would probably need the clear/white ones as my car is Hibiscus red I dont think the chrome ones would look right :)

I would watch if you have facotry standard Xenons. As when I got my lights I used to have H4 bulbs for main lights but now they are all changed to H1. You might get stung by getting new lights that run a different bulb size to your xenon bulbs that would put you in a pickle.
