new a4 avant owner

    hi guys ive just picked up a 1998 a4 avant 1.8t in green slowly working my way through stuff so no doubt ill be pestering you all for answers to questions as this is my first audi after a life time of ford

    you can't go wrong with an A4 avant. the 1.8T engine has its issues but if looked after can be realy reliable. my mate had on with 202k on it.

    I prefer the TDi lumps but thats just me

    theres nothing wrong with a Ford but needs to be pre 90's for me. and ideally RWD

    I had a 83 1.6 Ls Capri (Christine) she was in ford radiant red. My 1st car and I loved it and wish I kept her. OLD FORDS NEVER DIE!

    lovely old 4x4. was that the 2.9? I had a few of the early 4x4 2.8's I loved they old things.

    That does look bloody good, the wheels really set it off.

    Those Cologne V6's were a bit **** though, a Cosworth V6 conversion in there (or a YB) would have sorted it nicely.

    yes mate 2.9 cracking motor and well known on the show circuit for the engine bay
