I've just bought a Black 51plate A3 as a cheap runabout. Just popped in to say Hi.
Having come from Golfs and Leon Cupra's, I'm aware of all the common niggles that run through the range, like leaking rear wiper, in turn leading to failing bootlocks and micro switches etc, etc... Rear wiper will be removed during the week and new section of brass tube from local modelling shop used to repair it.
Hopefully this site will be a great source of info for any other future problems I may encounter.
