Hi, guys just test drove a lovely 63 plate 2.0 tdi Sportback s-line at the Audi garage in Ayr, Scotland.
Thing is I'm not sure about the price, it does come with the basic comfort pack, roof rails and tinted windows, but the salesman has quoted me £26307 which apparently is with a £1K discount to already applied!
I feel the price is quite high after checking online, so was wondering what you guys thought, as I'm a newbie when it comes to this buying brand new car business!

That's odd as a few years ago I ordered via DTD and it came from Dundee Audi!

When you bought a car from long distance, then you have minor problem, like a rattle coming from dashboard, would you be bother traveling long distance? then more problem's and on and on Is it worth it?

Then there's the courtesy car issue, regarding your own Audi dealership, nearest to you, if your car need's staying overnight or for a few week's, will they give you a courtesy car, because the sales person lost his/her commission.

It's ok to travel to save money but then any issues and servicing use your local dealer, I travelled from Leeds to Bournemouth for my last car just to save some cash, I also drove to kent just to pick up some alloys as they were 200 cheaper than a set that was 10 mins from Hme, always be prepared to travel if it saves you cash

I think you miss the point a little... Regardless of where you buy from your warranty is valid at any Audi dealership - no matter how big or small the problem may be. And if you end up with any problems with a dealer and you think it's cos they are feeling aggrieved that you didn't buy from them I wouldn't hesitate to get in the phone to Audi UK who I'm sure will get it sorted in an instant...

Audi want all the warranty work and service they can get makes them look better to audi HQ. besides the bills they put in to Audi uk are most likely not the cheapest and won't be done at a cheap rate they'll milk it!

True to an extent Rams, however Audi will penalise dealerships who fail to remedy repeat problems.

If you go direct to Dundee, speak to John Norrie if he's still around. It's been a few years though.
