    Hey!

Well, i think I've bought a little gem really! A 2000 plate A4 1.8, ideal for what I need really. Except the colour... Which can't be helped. Lol.

    Few pics first:

I'm impressed with the build quality, and that it still feels so solid. Everything works.

I've got 3 problems I need help with though. Oh, it was just MOT'd with few advisories but nothing major really.

1 - orange solid ABS light keeps coming on at 70+ then clearing as I drive slower. Brakes feel ok, but Im sensing some kinda wobble from the front left, maybe wheel bearing or ball joint?

2 - I'm hearing a tinny rattle, mostly again from the left hand side? Exhaust shield? Does it going over bumps but strangely enough also when braking?!

3 - I need my iPhone hooking up. It's got a concert 1 (tape player), will this work:

Thanks for all help in advance, really hoping I can get these few things sorted so I can really enjoy it.

1 is probably a broken or dirty reluctor. If you get the ABS control unit scanned for fault codes (buy yourself a vagcom lead) it should tell you which corner is faulty.

2, noises are generally very difficult to diagnose via the internet. Might be related to the wobble from 1?

3, personally i can only suggest throwing the concert in the bin and setting fire to it. Its a complete POS. Fit a decent aftermarket headunit with ipod support.

The car REALLY needs lowered too, i've never seen a facelift car sit as high as that! Looks like someones installed a lift kit for offroading :p

Hi mate, thanks for reply. Its going into the garage anyway but I'd guess a wheel bearing, my old TT did the same thing.

As for the radio I see what your saying but I like the dash/radio to look original
