Currently doing a turbo upgrade on my Audi Quarttro 1.8t
IHI VF23 turbo with uprated rods and custom made manifold.. Also using 550cc genesis Injectors..
Basically I was told my fuel pump which is a standard 4bar might not be able to cope with the 300+ bhp I'm hoping for!! Just need your technical help in what you guys think? Do I need to run a inline pump or are there any direct replacement pumps I can use

I'm using 034 Motorsport's billet 044 fuel pump. Basically uses a billet bracket which allows the 044 pump to be mounted in the original fuel pump basket.

The 044 pump should be plenty for your setup. FYI, I'm using a Siemens deka 630cc injectors..heaps of headroom for fuelling.

1.8T quattro has the same pump as an S4.

If you want to increase your overhead drop the fuel pressure to 3 bar and you'll have plenty of scope for 350hp+. I know that probably sounds backwards, but the pump flows LESS fuel at higher pressures. By reducing the base pressure you increase the pumps flow rate. Your injectors are large enough to supply over 400hp at 3bar, so no issues there.

I wouldnt be touching the stock pump until i was nearing 400hp.
