    hi,

i have an audi s3 and want to get some porsche wheels to fit on to it. they are 7.5x18 et50 fronts and 9x18 et52 rears. does anyone here have porsche wheels on their car and where did they get the adapters from? are there any brands which are better?

i need longer nuts as well, but will i need a new set of locking nuts? i would preferably go to a place where they know what they are talking about and get good advice on how thick the adapters should/can be. any help would be nice, i travel from london to gloucester regularly so hopefully there is some place along this route which can help? thanks.

I take it you are trying to fit genuine Porsche wheels onto your car, you need hub adaptors that changes your stud pattern from 5x100 to something like 5x130? You won't need longer bolts, and you can buy these as kits with all the bits you need, and maybe invest in some locking nuts.
I'm not sure where to purchase them from, sorry I couldn't be more helpful, could try H&R or Eibachs?

ok i just need some clarifying, how much can the s3 take width wise? i mean do i need to aim to get the offset around to 35mm? so if the wheel has an offset of 52mm i need a hub adapter to be around the 17mm size? does it have to be 35 both frint and back? i am kinda learning this as i go along...

Aim for ET30-35 with 8" wheels fronts, and rear arches are good for 265 section tyres on maybe 9.5" width alloys, again, ET30-35... I would go nearer ET30 for the meaner phat look which I presume your are after. :D

so u think that if i got 20mm adapters on the 52 offset it will be ok (et will be 32ish, is that right?) i just want to try something different and have a unique set of wheels... and other than some bbs lms, nothing else was my taste...

I would say go for it with the 20mm adaptors, though I take no resposibility if it catches :p It also depends on what tyre sizes you are going for? I'm running 235/35R19 tyres and 19x8 rims all round with ET35 offset and 5mm spacers at the rear. The fronts will catch the inner arch(on the inside!) when I apply medium to full lock, and go over uneven surfaces, and the rears have loads of room left. I will move my 5mm spacers to the fronts and put 10mm(maybe 15mm) onto the rears at some point, to fill the arches for a meaner look.
I know what you mean about unique, I've not come accross anyone with the exact same wheels on their S3 as mine lol. :beerchug:
