NEED Another Key made for a3???

Hi picked up my 57 plate 2008 shape audi a3 3door 1.6 sport and it only comes with one key i need another key for my dad do i have to go to audi for this as it is a electric key fob?

Probably, but I'd never use anyone else, so if you want cheaper, search online.

Actually i could just have 1 electric key fob and just a normal cut key as a back up can get that done anywer cant i

There's a guy on here who does them, I think his user is craigynet? Maybe Craignet, I've lost my messages so can't check for his name. Very reasonable price too

But your backup key wont even start the car up so a waste of money really unless you feel like locking your keys in the car if its even possible

Well I have must bought a new key from Audi as I only had one key for my S3. The cost of a 3 button flip key including new blade cut is £142 inc vat and then it is £69 to have it coded . They also coded my original key and my new key coded to my car so if anyone does have my other key it will be useless. So total cost for a new key coded is £211 inc vat . hope this helps
