Need a second keyfob, what are my options?

I only have one keyfob, and would like a second. Is my only option main delaer, if so how much are they.
I have seen some on ebay.

Plenty of information on this if you use the search function.
But basically if you buy a key it will need to be coded by someone with VAGCOM.
If you buy it yourself and get it coded you're looking at about £60-£100.
Main dealers is more like £180.

You cant code a key with vagcom.

It will have to be done at a main dealers. You have no option.

The reason i want one is i nearly locked it in the boot the other day. Its the self locking doors, you could easily lock yourself out.

I had the same problem as you and I am afraid as stated above that the main dealers is your only option! Audi have us over barrels on this one as they know they are the only people who can do this!
