Just got a phone call from the garage, they said when they dropped the gearbox to get at the clutch and dual mass (what its in for), they drained the oil and found a lot of copper and metal in it from the synchro - seeing as the oil was only changed 3 weeks ago this isn't good news .
Anyone got any advice on what to do - recondition or new gearbox?
I have warrantydirect and this is going to go through in one big claim to them, at the moment it's Dual Mass, Crankshaft sensor and now Gearbox....
