N75 'J' valve which way around ?

just fitted a n75 j valve to my 1.8t but the long hose tail is on the opposite side of the valve does this make any difference to fitting ?

Long one into intake pipe, this will place it upside down tho, so you need to release a little bit more cable to reach

why will it make a difference ? they all enter the center of the valve ?

but they are not all controlled via the valve iirc
