N/s window has dropped itself and will now not work? Motor fault?
After a quick search found this thread
Got home from work at 00:20.
Made a bru and switched the computer on, went out to the garage and started the investigation.
Checked the fuses and power to the motor, was all good so plugged the switch back in and tried operating the window with the card off. Heard something drop in the bottom of the door, arrrrgh the missing bit of blue plastic I was hoping for.
Door inner frame out and part stripped off. Off to Audi in the morning to see if I can get a replacement.
Just gonna finish my bru then get alittle kip.
Will need a replacement clip today, if Audi dont have one in stock is there anywhere else near Crewe that will stock one???
Just a simple replace,
I need the part today though. . .
Hmm, well I bet you won't get one at 3:20am if they do same/next day delivery that's probably the quickest and the cheapest. Sorry buddy
I rung Stoke Audi at 0845 this morning, they are getting me one in for this afternoon. . . Also getting another one from TPS. . .
Crewe Audi were as usless as ever. I hate dealing with them.
let us know how it goes.
Stoke Audi text me about 10am to say the part was in, took them about a hour and a half to get the part in!!! Well impressed, run up there quick and handed over a total of £3.11 for one clip ( would have replaced both but they could only get me the one in today ). . . Flew home and made another bru, chucked the window mech back together with alittle grease and waxoil while apart. . .
Job done. Job was made easy with the how to guide. Cheers
TPS were showing one in stock, rung them and there isn't one there.
