when driving with any degree of lefthand turn, a random clunk clunk comes from the front centre left of the vehicle, it happends even more on rough and bumpy
roads in forwards and reverse, but only with lefthand turn!.
its only just had a mot and its been back to a garage and they cant find anything wrong with bushes and drive shafts
what do you think fella's?
UPDATE
Its still doing the same, but ive noticed that when starting the engine the same noise sometimes occurs and its below the gear stick area.
The noise is the same as the other i have heard,it sounds like a hollow clunk, like
something isnt solid, i would be grateful for any advice
Thanks for your previous replys

Track rod end, mine went and did the same thing!

Agree. Its probably this. Could also be a suspension bush. I suspect it won't be dangerous, but it'll be one of those things that you should probably sort now else it'll get worse and could become dangerous or cause probles with your tyres wearing unevenly.

I recently had the same problem on my clio sport not my a3. However, ppl where sayin it my be the bushes etc.. Belive it or not, it was my caliper! It was loose! worth a look!
