Just some pics with the new wheels, they will be coming off in the new few weeks, going back to 18"s.
Car is looking great! Love the wheels in your last picture. :icon_thumright:
Popped past Neeshen at TM Stainless Steel Motorsport to go have a look at progress of my car.
This man really knows how to build work of art exhausts.

Some random pics I snapped.
Love the look of this car exactly how i want mine to look with the rs6 wheels on her is it a gunmetal grey? ?
Can i ask what the ride quality was like on the koni strt setup? ??
It was quite hard and bounce for a car that was not that low, I much prefer my D2 setup now.
Exhaust is done, collecting the car in two hours.
Exhaust looks sweet
What sort of price are your d2 coilovers? O was going to buy the koni strt kit but unsure now.....
this guy must be loaded and have loads of time on his hands ! thats all i can say
Me? why you say so?
Doing some maintenance parts on the S3 during the next few weeks when I am on leave.Replacing the complete engine harness from coilpacks to the ECU as mine is a bit damaged from turbo heat.(New OEM harness)OEM coilpack cover to protect the harness.OEM crank seal, bolts and transfer box seals for when I pull the gearbox to sort out the oil leak.Had some Solid subframe mounts made up by Derium Engineering, hopefully this sorts out the knocking noise Ive had for the past year.
Some updates on the car (Won't be any pics as my phone was stolen with the pics that I took)
New crank seal fitted
Solid subframe bushes fitted
New Concentric slave cylinder fitted
2 new inner CV's fitted
Transfer box seals replaced
Oil drained and replaced with Royal Purple
And then for the sound update, sold my 10" Hertz HX250 and got me 3 x 8" Gladen RS line Audio woofers. Will build a box for them this weekend coming.
Finished up the new box this weekend, big thanks to Paul who came over to help.
Wood collected from timber city and cut to size
Box assembled and test fitted
Faceplate cut and filled for imperfections
Center done with Grey carpet to match sidepanels
And done and fitted
That's awesome - can you still access the little storage compartments? Ah, who cares. Bet it sounds sweet. Love reading this thread.
Its easy enough to access it, just fold the seats flat and move the box onto the seats, takes all of 2mins to do.
nice thread matey! car looks very nice!
So pics of what I've been busy with the past week.
Sent my engine parts off for powdercoating again.
Cleaned the TB inside and out
Gave all the engine covers a clean and primer, then painted semi gloss black
Received the parts back from Pro-coat friday afternoon
Spent the most of saturday cleaning out all the sandblasting beeds, fitted with new gaskets

As it stands now

Yesterday afternoon I quickly stripped out the water bottle as had some issues fitting the side cover.
OCD kicked in and gave it a quick scrub
Fitted it back properly and fitted the side cover
Waiting on the battery bracket for the other cover, will give the engine bay a good cleaning this weekend
One of my favourite S3s on here ... loving the work mate..
Thank you sir,
I can't wait to drive it again, Just waiting on wheels and adapters, hopefully by this weekend.
Loving the way this engine bay is turning out! Too hot!!!!
Still waiting on adapters, wheels and bumpers
Got some other things done this weekend.
Painted some more parts
Cleaned the ABS sensors
Sanded and polished intercooler
Then had some beers
Finished the airbox mod
Engine bay done for now, waiting on bracket for battery cover and then my porsche water and oil caps
Looking good dude.. nice to see that I am not alone with ocd and the 'must paint stuff' gene
Beautiful car, man. I'm very envious!
Collected my battery bracket from GW Delarey this morning, now the engine bay can be complete :hurray:
Got cracking last night on fitting the battery cover, but not without some modding, as seems they changed the S3 battery tray to a A3 one, nothing a air grinder and cutting blade could not solve.
Was quite an expensive exercise (3k) for the covers and brackets for something that was suppose to be standard on the car
Collected my Adapters this morning from Deriam, beyond impressed.
20mm, 30mm and 35mm's electroplated gold.
love it botha!!!!! neatest engine here! and the spacers look boss
